Before

The original cart drawer and its existing bundle-offer behavior.
Not every store needs a rebuild. Sometimes the highest-impact opportunity is already inside the buying journey.

For Rytual Cafe, the focus was the cart: redesigning the experience, improving offers and integrating custom cart logic with Kaching Bundles.
01
Rytual Cafe did not need a complete storefront rebuild.
The highest-impact opportunity was inside the cart drawer, where products, gifts, upsells and bundle offers needed to work together more clearly.
02
The cart needed to present its contents and offers with a clearer visual hierarchy, including a more useful empty-cart state.
Bundle behavior also required custom logic between the Shopify cart and Kaching Bundles.
03
I treated the cart as a focused buying surface: first clarifying its states and information hierarchy, then aligning the offer logic and integration behavior.
Keeping the scope centered on the cart allowed the work to improve a specific journey without forcing a full-store rebuild.
04
05
The revised hierarchy makes products, totals and offers easier to distinguish.
The empty state gives the cart a purposeful experience even before a product is added.
Gifts, upsells and bundle offers are presented as part of one coherent cart journey.
06
Custom cart logic connects Shopify cart state with Kaching Bundles so bundle offers behave correctly inside the redesigned drawer.
The implementation stays focused on cart-related behavior rather than replacing unrelated areas of the existing storefront.
